Congratulations! You must be so proud.
Thank you Jan. It is very exciting for me! I submitted my response to the call for submissions before Christmas and just found out I was accepted for publication this week. 🙂
That is wonderful news! Congratulations! I love this quilt, especially those little people dancing…it is so perfect!
Thank you so much Jayne! It has been a great experience for me and I hope I, and many more of us, have more opportunities to reach world leaders with our quilting.
That's wonderful news! I had seen your quilt in another post, but hadn't read the description of it – that makes it all the more meaningful. The other thing with women and children having to walk long distances for water – it isn't always safe to drink either – adding to the work they have to do to make it safe for their families…
Thank you Jannette! 🙂 Yes, it is a real problem in the world. I know when our town's water supply was compromised we were under a boil water warning and I had a baby at the time. It was a total pain but it was nothing compared to what these women and children have to go through. I feel that not enough is being done quickly enough.
