I am happy to show you my row for the Christmas Carol “I Saw Three Ships.”

As soon as I saw that song in the list of carols we could choose from I knew that was it. First of all, the idea of these ship blocks came to mind right away because I had been working on some sail boat blocks this past summer.
Secondly, when I lived in Vancouver, BC as a child I loved that Christmas carol and would sing it every time I got a glimpse of the ships in the harbour. I remember some of them would put Christmas lights on their masts and sails at Christmas time.
You can download this row pattern for free until end of day September 14th 2017 after which time it will be available on Etsy $5.00 C. Thank you again to Northcott for the fabrics to make my row. I love the snowflakes in the background!

  1. I like your ships. Where I live along the Gulf of Mexico our harbor has a big night where all the boats compete with decorations. Santa rides into the town on the last boat coming into the harbor. (robinsbusiness@hotmail.com)

  2. Your theme is very unique–it is a carol that you don't hear too often. Your row is perfect for the carol. Thanks for the chance to win your terrific book.

  3. I love it, and can see so many ways to use this row! Thanks for the wonderful pattern. Congrats on the new book. I have to say I'm in love with the pumpkin heart! 🙂

  4. Thanks so much for being a part of !the Christmas Carol QAL! Your block is perfect!! Thanks too, for the chance to win a copy of your book – it looks really nice!!!

  5. Anita- I love your pixel hearts patterns- they are all very cool. Would be great fun to create a whole year full of quilts with your designs. Thanks for the chance to win these patterns.
    Warmest regards, Anna

  6. I really like your ships and the block doesn't have to be used for a Christmas quilt, so that's a bonus! I have a tiny string of Christmas lights from the craft store that would make a cute embellishment attached to the yardarms (if this is a wall hanging). Thanks for the pattern!

  7. Love the ships, I have a son in the Navy, I will have to make him something with this design. The heart with the pumpkin is great, and although I am not Canadian, I have roots from there and that heart is wonderful. thanks for designing and sponsoring. Merry Christmas 😉
