Welcome to the halfway point in the Canadian Summer Quilt Along! Wow! You quilters are doing great and I am loving the variety of the blocks in the Instagram hashtag #canadiansummerqal.
Today’s block is the “Upstream Block” designed by Natasha Just of “Just Sewing.”
Natasha’s block is inspired by summer trips to a fishing lodge in northern Saskatchewan and depicts three fish swimming upstream.
I, like many Canadian girls, have fond fishing memories too. There are so many great places to spend time outdoors in Canada.
Head to Natasha’s website to read about her block and download her block pattern and keep reading here for the Halfway Point Check-in prize information.
