My fun mail came from Annie’s Kit Clubs. The envelope I received is from their Fat Quarter Club.

I made the adorable Chicken Walk Oven Mitt first from a two piece set of patterns in the kit. It took me about an hour and a half to make the project. I will be making the Roosting Hen hot pad next.

Watch my unboxing and quick project video below.

The Fat Quarter Club is a quick and affordable way to build a stash for quality quilting fabrics. Sign up and receive 50% off your first month. I received 12 fat quarters plus the project booklet and was very pleased with the quality. Six of the fat quarters were from Moda Fabrics and Six were from Free Spirit Fabrics. Each month you receive six fat quarters (not 12) but there were samples for two months in the package I received.
