I have been getting the household organized and implementing new systems along with the new school year. One of my new systems is a chore chart.
We have a regular chore chart with basic chores for the kids to help with such as laundry, sweeping, mowing the lawn/shoveling snow and cooking meals.
I have created a bonus clipboard for the kids to have a chance to earn some extra money by doing some extra chores. I recently went back to work part time after five years working exclusively from home so now I have my fulltime business and a part time job. This means I could use some help with the chores.

I used some supplies I have had sitting around for years from Stampin’ Up including a chipboard clipboard and office themed stickers.
I have chores listed under each clip such as clean bathrooms and mop floors with notes to see Mom for instructions and final inspection. (My kids have never cleaned the bathroom!)

There were lots of cute stickers in my sticker pack and I put “Things To Do” on each clip.

The kids need to show me their work before they can take the money. That way I can make sure they did a good job.

I also have a Bonus Chore money envelope where they can take the initiative to notice something that needs to be done. However, I don’t want them to invent fake jobs so they need to check with Mom and Dad if their idea qualifies for payment. 😉
Hopefully this incentivizes the kids to help out a little bit now that Mom is a bit busier.
