Llamarama Quilt

I made this cute quilt to take to the Rose City Fibre Festival which was on April 6th in Camrose.

The Fibre Festival was on at the same time as an Alpaca show so I was calling this an alpaca quilt but the pattern designer called it the Llamarama Quilt so I went with that for this post.

We had a fantastic time at the Rose City Fibre Festival where I was a vendor. My family absolutely loved seeing the alpacas too.

I had hoped someone would love the alpaca / llama quilt enough to take it home but it is still available.

I made this quilt with the CF Collection fabrics by Carolyn Friedlander and black Essex Yarn Dyed linen for the background. I hand embroidered all their eyelashes.

It has Moda wideback on the back by Camille Roskelley.

It was fun to make this quilt. The blocks are quite large so the quilt top goes together quickly.

I have several more knitting shows/fibre festivals coming up this year:

June 8, 2024 Biggar Fibre Fair in Biggar, Saskatchewan

August 17-18, 2024 Knit City Calgary at Telus Convention Centre in Calgary

October 5, 2024 Silver Willow Fibre Festival in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

I have applied to a few other shows that I am waiting to hear back from so there might be more to add to this list soon.
